Alix Petah is a Macedon Ranges born and bred contemporary dancer. She is RAD trained and has had over fifteen years dance experience.
Most recently Alix has worked as a dancer/choreographer on 9DIMES performing at both Arts Centre Melbourne and in the UK.
She has worked with artists including Missy Higgins, Seavera, Okenyo, Odette, Julia Stone, Maribelle, 360 & Gosling, The Rubens, Mstr Rogers ; she also performed in and choreographed two music videos for the acclaimed Australian artist Yeo. Alix has also performed alongside AO Crew in advertisements for John West Tuna.
Alix has been a part of many exciting shows from choreographers such as Jonathan Homsey & Alice Robinson, most recently including the works "Does It Matter In The Dark" and "Unfamiliar Noise".
Alix is an advocate for community outreach and contemporary performance. She is an alumni of The Space and Yellow Wheel, she is also the facilitator of their youth program, Yellow Wheelies.
